I can not believe our little man is one year old. We were just talking about how 1 year ago we were going back and forth to the NICU and how much of a trial it was for me as a mom knowing there was nothing I could do to help Brenan. All I could do was sit and watch him and pray that he would respond well to all of the respiratory treatments so that we could bring him home to meet his brother and sister. It was a real trial for Kinley. She really struggled for that week until we were able to bring him home. Brenan is a real joy to our family and makes our family complete. As a mom it is a joy to watch all of the kids respond to each other. Brenan will just follow the kids around wanting to play with them.
He definately was my biggest challenge as a mom. He did everything backwards. He was a really clinging baby almost colicy, had a lot of the same symptoms a colic baby would have. We finally have passed that hump and he really is a good child. Hopefully he does not learn from his brother and sister or he will be in trouble a lot.

Oh, I remember those sad days with Brenan in the NICU. So hard. I am so glad he is a happy healthy little guy and grown out of the hard first year. We just love him.
